PEDAGOGY OF HOPE: UNCAGE, REUNIFY, HEAL // EXHIBITION DESIGN
2022

As an extension of the Caravan for the Children campaign, Galería de la Raza presents the exhibition, “Pedagogy of Hope: Uncage, Reunify, Heal” at YBCA in San Francisco. This exhibition not only showcases the work of lead campaign artist, Paola de la Calle, but also continues to call to action to persuade the Biden administration to Uncage, Reunify, and Heal the migrant children in ICE custody at the U.S./Mexico Border.

I had the pleasure of creating this massive timeline for the exhibition that educated the audience of the cruel history of the treatment of migrants in the U.S. In both English and Spanish, this timeline scales the walls that surround the exhibition space, allowing space for images of the Caravan for the Children’s first phase of action during the first 100 days of the Biden administration.
